Board of Directors

It is the supreme authority of INCAE Business School. It is composed of a Director from each member country, who in turn are the Presidents of the National Committees of those countries. It also has Directors without territorial assignment, a President, a Vice President and the Rector. Its main functions include:

  • To outline the general policy of the Institute.
  • Approve, with the concurrence of the Faculty, the Institute's Mission and its long-term plans and strategies.
  • To ensure the academic excellence of the Institute.
  • Approve the different ranks of the academic ladder and the general conditions for appointment, promotion and removal of the Faculty.
  • Approve Grade programs; and ensure that all activities are consistent with the mission and objectives of the Institute.
  • To grant academic degrees to candidates who have satisfactorily completed the corresponding study programs.
  • To grant honorary degrees and other distinctions.

Presidential Advisory Council (PAC)

The Presidential Advisory Council - PAC - has as its main objective to ensure that the institution and its programs continue to reflect and respond to the critical issues facing the region by providing strategic and practical leadership on issues of high priority for the future of the institution.

INCAE National Committees
National Committees
The National Committees of INCAE, guide and support the growth and development of the institution in each of the seven member countries.

Today, the National Committees contribute to increasing the impact of INCAE in each of the countries they serve by

  • Representation of the feelings of each member country of INCAE, through the participation of its president in the Board of Directors.
  • Advice on the relevance of INCAE programs to meet the needs of each country.
  • Identification of areas in which INCAE can support the development of a member country.
  • Promoting public interest in programs and activities at INCAE.
  • Support to the institution in the approach and involvement of its graduates.
  • Accompanying the institution in the fundraising process.
