The Master in Agribusiness is a Grade program designed for experienced professionals working in the Agribusiness and Food sector, who seek specialized training in business and management in an international environment. It seeks to provide its students with necessary knowledge in the context of the fourth industrial revolution and the new normal in agribusiness management, digital business and supply chain in the industry agri-food industry international. This master's degree part time is being developed jointly by two leading institutions in the region: INCAE Business School School and Zamorano, making it a unique opportunity that combines access to a powerful network of contacts, business in Latin America and knowledge of cutting-edge practices in sustainable agriculture, agribusiness and natural resource management.
International modular structure:
The program consists of 6 strategically distributed modules: 2 are held at Zamorano University in Honduras, and 4 at INCAE Business School in Costa Rica and Panama, providing a diverse and enriching learning experience.

It includes an international component in the Netherlands, with a stay at the prestigious Wageningen University, a world leader in agricultural science research and education.

The program is divided into six modules of two weeks each over a 12-month period, providing access to first-level training that is compatible with the work activity and allows the knowledge and skills acquired to be put into immediate practice.

He is a full Professor at INCAE Business School and actively participates in the executive and regular and executive master's programs. He has a long experience as a member of the faculty of INCAE, supported by several years of professional practice in different countries. He is the academic director of the Master program in Agribusiness Management and the MBA-Online (Master's Program in Business Administration on-line). He is also a member of INCAE’s Academic Policies Committee and serves as Director of the Qualifications Committee.
He currently teaches courses on Sustainability Management, Quantitative Methods and Financial Mathematics. He also participates in the consulting work of the Management Consulting project of the MAB and MAIT master's programs.
He does consulting work in several Latin American countries and has been a member of international professional associations such as the IAAE (International Association of Agricultural Economists) and IAMA (International Food and Agribusiness Management Association). He represented the PMA (Produce Marketing Association) of the United States in the region and is currently a director of several companies in Central America. He is a member of the College of Agricultural Engineers of Costa Rica.
He has participated intensively in the teaching of open executive programs and in the In Company modality in diverse areas such as Investment Risk Management and Evaluation, Project Formulation and Evaluation, Professional Project Management and Negotiation. He is the author and supervisor of numerous cases and teaching notes on different topics. Professor Perez has participated in several international congresses and conferences in various countries around the world and has presented the results of his research. His areas of interest are in the areas of competitiveness, sustainability and inclusiveness and Digital Transformation of Agribusiness.
He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University, specializing in Natural Resource Economics and Business Strategy. He also obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration (MAE) at INCAE, specializing in Banking and Development Finance, and Postgraduate Program in Functional Administration (PAF) with emphasis in Agribusiness Management at the same institution, graduating with distinction. Professor Pérez is also an agronomist engineer with a major in Irrigation from the National School of Agriculture-Universidad Autónoma de Chapingo, Mexico, where he achieved honor roll throughout his career.

Felipe Pérez Pineda holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University, with specialization in Natural Resource Economics and Agribusiness Strategy. He graduated with a Master's degree in Business Administration from INCAE with a concentration in Banking and Development Finance, and a Postgraduate degree in Functional Administration with emphasis in Agribusiness Management from the same institution, graduating with distinction.
Professor Perez is also an Agricultural Engineer with a major in Irrigation from the Universidad Autonoma de Chapingo, Mexico where he achieved honor roll throughout his career. A member of the faculty of INCAE with the rank of Full Professor, he headed the Agroindustry Program of the institute for several years.
His experience as a professor at INCAE in the executive and master's programs has been supported by several years of professional practice in different countries. He has done consulting work in several Latin American countries and has been a member of international professional associations such as the IAAE (International Association of Agricultural Economists) and IAMA (International Food and Agribusiness Management Association).
He represented the PMA (Produce Marketing Association) of the United States in the region and is currently a director of several companies in Central America. Professor Perez currently teaches courses on Sustainability Management, Quantitative Methods and Introduction to Financial Simulation and Entrepreneurship in the Master's Programs in Nicaragua and Costa Rica.

He has also been a professor in these programs, in the courses of Quantitative Methods, Decision Making and Presentation, and Environmental Impact Project Evaluation.
