Executive Programs
A psychologist by profession, Ramiro Casó has developed his career in two areas: communication and teaching.
In the first, he has worked as a strategic planner in important advertising agencies such as JWT, Publicis, DRAFTFCB and BBDO.
In the teaching area, he started as a professor at the School of Psychology of the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello and at the International Center for Professional Updating of the same university (Caracas, Venezuela). He has recently taught courses on Business Analytics at INCAE Business School (Alajuela, Costa Rica), both in executive masters programs and in open programs.
His work has focused on the development of communication strategies, always using psychology as a starting point, but also on the study and discussion of persuasion as a psychological process and its component variables.
He is currently a Senior Researcher at INCAE Business School.
He is a graduate of the Executive MBA and the Executive Master in Business Analytics and Data Management, both with High Honors.
He is a doctoral candidate (Ph.D.) at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, The Netherlands.

Executive Programs
He is an academic and senior consultant in innovation and technology management with particular emphasis on governance of information platforms and ecosystems, and orchestration of long-term digital transformation processes. He is currently a research associate in the governance of intelligent autonomous systems and Artificial Intelligence, as part of the Trustworthiness of Autonomous Systems (TAS) UK project, at the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh, UK.
In parallel to his academic life, he has participated in multiple strategic consulting processes in organizational and digital transformation, in various industries and organizations in the public and private sector, both in Latin America and Europe. He has significant experience in the strategic articulation for the adoption of large-scale complex platforms. He has more than a decade linked to INCAE Business School, initially as a consultant and research associate and then as part of the guest faculty. For several years he coordinated the annual evaluation of public service delivery by digital means in Costa Rica, his country of origin; a systematic measurement conducted externally from INCAE, where the citizen's experience when interacting digitally with state institutions was analyzed.
He has co-authored several academic articles and teaching cases on innovation and technological transformation. He has published in academic journals such as the Journal of Management Decisions, International Journal of E-Government, the Journal of Medical Internet Research, among others. In 2011, together with Professor Juan Carlos Barahona, he received first place globally in the case writing competition organized by the European Foundation for Management Development EFMD, in the category of "Innovation and Responsible Leadership".
Professor Elizondo holds a PhD in Science, Technology and Innovation Studies from the University of Edinburgh. His doctoral research, conducted at the National Health Service (NHS) in England, focused on innovation processes and orchestration of information infrastructures in complex ecosystems of organizations, practices, actors, systems and data. As a doctoral researcher he participated in projects with the Data Driven Innovation, the Edinburgh Living-Lab, the Data and Design Lab, the Edinburgh Futures Institute, and the NHS Digital Academy. In addition to his PhD, Professor Elizondo holds an MSc in Science and Technology Studies also from the University of Edinburgh, an MSc in International Business from EGADE Business School, the Business School of the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (Monterrey campus), an MSc in European Business from ESCP-Europe (Madrid campus), and an Engineering Grade in Computer Science from the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica. He is also a graduate of INCAE's Senior Management Program.

His research focuses on the intersection of theoretical knowledge of decision making (related to mathematical models), and how it is actually done in practice (related to cognitive and social psychology), for application in managerial decisions.
Florian Federspiel is Assistant Professor at INCAE Business School and focuses on Management Decision Sciences.
Prior to joining INCAE Business School, he was a Visiting Scholar in the Operations and Information Management Group at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business in the USA and an Adjunct Professor in the area of Operations and Technology at IE Business School in Spain.
His research focuses on the intersection of theoretical knowledge of decision making (related to mathematical models), and how decisions are actually made in practice (related to cognitive and social psychology), always with the aim of identifying possible failures and interventions to combat such failures in managerial decisions.
He is a member of the Decision Analysis Society of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS), as well as editor of the Ask DAS column of Decision Analysis Today.

Executive Programs
Giovanni Visentin is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at INCAE Business School. His research focuses on the intersection of strategic leadership and marketing management, examining the ability of chief marketing officers (CMOs) to influence long-term marketing strategies. In addition, Professor Visentin studies consumer behavior to determine the socio-psychological characteristics that influence their ability to make long-term decisions on financial investments, food and sustainability.
Visentin uses archival and textual data, through essentially quantitative methods such as Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP), to understand phenomena such as managerial myopia, stakeholder management and financial performance in a variety of empirical contexts, including social networks, product markets and financial markets.
He has presented his research at numerous international conferences and is a member of several international academic and professional associations, including the American Marketing Association, the Academy of Marketing Science, the Association of Marketing Theory and Practice, the European Marketing Academy, the Strategic Management Society and the Academy of Management (STR and MOC divisions).
Professor Visentin's doctoral dissertation, entitled: "Leadership Determinants of Myopic Management: Implications for Marketing", received much attention in the field of marketing management and was selected as outstanding by the French Marketing Association (AFM). Her teaching experience includes teaching case-based courses on the application of analytical tools for business decision making to Global MBA, Online MBA and Executive MBA students at INCAE Business School.
Previously, his career was focused on consulting, serving as a lead consultant and project manager for multinational companies and leading law firms. His areas of expertise include legal and tax advisory, intangible asset valuation, corporate finance and forensic accounting.
He earned his PhD in Management Sciences from ESCP Business School in Paris and his MSc in Accounting and Finance from Bocconi University in Milan. In addition to his Italian mother tongue, Giovanni is fluent in English and French, and is practicing his Spanish to add to his list of languages.
