A strategic collaboration for social change! INCAE joins AVINA Foundation and Harvard University to establish the Social Enterprise Knowledge Network, SEKN. This network aims to promote research and dissemination of topics related to social enterprises, thus contributing to the growth and impact of these organizations in the region, a partnership that positions INCAE as a leader in a field of high relevance and growth throughout the region!

A month of great achievements and honors at INCAE! On February 21, our Costa Rica campus was renamed Walter Kissling Gam Campus, in honor of his legacy as president of the Board of Directors and manager of our Costa Rica headquarters. Also, in this same month, CLACDS and the MIT Media Lab formalized the Digital Nations research agreement to boost the development of Central America, a significant step towards a digital and prosperous future for our region!

An honor for INCAE! América Economía magazine ranked us number one in its annual ranking of business schools in Latin America. This recognition was especially significant, as it was the first time we participated in such a ranking in a prestigious magazine in the region. Today, we continue to participate in more global rankings, but this initial achievement remains an important milestone in our history. Thank you for your continued support!

A milestone we celebrate and renew! In 2004, INCAE received the prestigious EQUIS accreditation from the European Foundation for Management Development. This recognition highlights our commitment to excellence in business education, and this year, 2024, we are re-accredited, reaffirming our ongoing commitment to quality and continuous improvement! We continue to move towards a future of excellence!

Celebrating the power of knowledge and innovation! In 2006, we launched INCAE Business Review magazine, a platform for sharing ideas and perspectives on business and leadership. This version of the magazine was active until 2015. In 2020, the magazine was relaunched, edited by CLACDS, reaffirming our commitment to editorial excellence and knowledge sharing

A partnership for regional progress! In 2006, INCAE and the Poma Foundation signed a historic agreement to create the Poma Foundation Chair, dedicated to poverty alleviation in the Central American region. This initiative reflects our and our partners' shared commitment to sustainable development and the improvement of living conditions in our community. Let us work together to build a more prosperous and equitable future for all!

In 2007, INCAE welcomed its eighth president, a global leader and INCAE Distinguished Scholar, recognized for his doctorate from Harvard University and his selection as a global leader by the World Economic Forum (WEF). From the beginning of his President, he pushed INCAE to think globally, setting a new course for the institution. In addition, he launched the first international MBA program, with classroom modules in Asia, Europe, and North, Central and South America, positioning INCAE as an international center with a global vision.
In addition, it initiated the Founders' Circle with the purpose of expanding the endowment fund of INCAE, thus ensuring the sustainable future of the institution.
With this distinguished appointment, he became the second rector to graduate from INCAE, leaving an indelible legacy in the history of our institution.

Celebrating collaboration for agribusiness development! In 2009, the Steve Aronson Agreement was signed - INCAE, which gave birth to the Café Britt Chair in Agribusiness Strategy, with a generous donation of $1 million. Today, this chair has been transformed into the Steve Aronson Chair in Strategy and Agribusiness, consolidating its commitment to academic excellence and the promotion of innovation in the agricultural sector.
