The EMPRO RD program was created thanks to the union of three organizations that share purposes and values focused on the development of the Dominican Republic and the promotion of small and medium enterprises led by women: Mastercard Strive, INCAE Business School and BHD.

INCAE is a leading business school in Latin America, founded in 1964 by Harvard Business School. Its mission is to actively promote the integral development of the countries it serves, training leaders for key sectors, improving their practices, attitudes and values:
The Institution occupies privileged positions where only elite Business Schools are found, an example of which is currently:
#1 MBA in Central and South America QS Global MBA Ranking 2023
#1 EMBA in Latin America and #59 in the World Financial Times 2022
#1 Participants Women and International Programs Financial Times 2022
#2 Financial Times 2022 International Participants
#18 in the World in Executive Education Financial Times 2022
INCAE is a pioneer in the region in strategic, inclusive and sustainable leadership, with the promotion of diversity as a priority, through its Center for Inclusive and Sustainable Leadership (CELIS).

The Center for Inclusive and Sustainable Leadership (CELIS) at INCAE Business School seeks to promote and develop inclusive and sustainable leadership in the region - built on the foundations of inclusion, equity, diversity and sustainability - supported by our platform of international experts with global vision.
This impact center promotes inclusion and equal opportunities for women executives in the public and private sectors, as well as entrepreneurs, through collaborative leadership between men and women, in order to generate value for organizations and society.

Mastercard Strive is a global portfolio of philanthropic programs that aims to support more than 10 million small businesses to thrive and build resilience in the digital economy.
Strive is funded by the Mastercard Impact Fund with support from Mastercard's Center for Inclusive Growth, and implemented with Caribou Digital.

The entity was founded on July 24, 1972, when it was known as Banco Hipotecario. For more than five decades it has been a forerunner in the local financial sector: from being a pioneer in the implementation of a corporate governance model to being the first universal digitalized bank in the Dominican Republic.
Its avant-garde vision makes it the national financial institution with the greatest international backing. Its policy of alliances has allowed it to offer its clients integral value proposals with banking products and services and other non-financial elements such as consulting, training, among others.
