For the Latin American Center for Competitiveness and Sustainable Development, CLACDS of INCAE Business School, it is a privilege to introduce you to two extraordinary businesswomen who have traveled a path full of challenges, triumphs and learning. These two graduates, selected from a group of 35 exceptional businesswomen, embody the very essence of resilience, creativity and entrepreneurship.
Who are they?
María Auxiliadora Ríos Terán: with her tireless work and vision, she has managed to transform her small business into a thriving enterprise with national and soon regional reach. Through her determination and skills acquired in our Empresarias Progresando EMPRO Honduras program, she overcame financial obstacles, reinvented herself in times of crisis and built strategic alliances that took her to new horizons. Her story is a reminder that success has no limits when combined with passion and knowledge.
Diana Aguilar: This entrepreneur is a whirlwind of energy and creativity. From launching her innovative healthy food service in several branches of financial institutions and a university to achieving strategic alliances with national leaders in the food industry, she has demonstrated that adaptability and boldness are key to business growth. Her participation in our program empowered her to face common challenges in her industry with confidence and turn them into opportunities. Her infectious smile and entrepreneurial spirit are a testament that the road to success is full of exciting adventures.
What challenges did you overcome?
María Auxliadora Riós Terán: She faced problems with suppliers of the basic inputs for her product and sleepless nights while balancing her personal and professional life. But each challenge was a stepping stone to her vision. Her mantra: "Nourishing the future and the well-being of our customers with the freshness and flavor of the Honduran countryside.
Diana Aguilar: She learned to negotiate with mastery, to make bold decisions and to lead with empathy. Her motto: "To offer our customers the experience of eating delicious, fresh and healthy food with personalized attention".
How did they enjoy the EMPRO Program?
Both graduates agree that EMPRO not only provided them with practical tools, but also a supportive community.
