INCAE Business School and the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP) signed an agreement to promote the professional development of human resources in Panama. This agreement includes joint activities for the transfer of knowledge, training and didactic topics.

The agreement establishes a framework of cooperation between INCAE and CCIAP for the continuous training and professional development of the private sector, through educational programs of INCAE and CCIAP projects. Sustainable projects that meet national and international standards will also be developed.

CCIAP will support INCAE in job skills development activities and will organize workshops, forums and events to deepen topics of mutual interest. The agreement was signed by Enrique Bolaños, Rector of INCAE, and Juan Arias, President of CCIAP, for a period of five years.

Juan Arias, president of the CCIAP, said: "Today more than ever, the country needs human capital trained to meet the demands of the labor market for an effective economic and social development with long-term perspectives. For this reason, the Chamber of Commerce has considered that quality education is the highest priority in order to evolve in the other aspects that keep our beloved Panama away from true development", added Arias.

He also indicated that the academic sector is an ally in the preparation based on the needs of the productive sector with this strategic alliance with INCAE, the CCIAP through its Center for Professional Training and Business Development will jointly participate in this process, ensuring greater talent according to local and international demands, which are becoming more competitive every day.
