As part of the LEADS Mujer initiative, the Entrepreneurship Center of INCAE , in collaboration with Banco Industrial, offers a new virtual course for women entrepreneurs. The program joins the courses on tools to grow your business, created thanks to the support of Mastercard's Inclusive Growth Center.
On this occasion, the Financial Tools for SMEs program seeks to provide businesswomen with the knowledge they need to navigate the financial options available to them, as well as the tools they need to grow their business. The course, which is available from the beginning of 2022, has a duration of 32 hours, is 100% online and has 5 modules that address the following topics:
Module 1: General banking concepts.
Module 2: Tools to grow your business.
Module 3: Types of banking instruments.
Module 4: Credit access requirements.
Module 5: General recommendations.
As in previous programs, participants will be able to study at their own pace, which is a huge advantage given the complicated schedules of women entrepreneurs. Upon completion and fulfillment of the passing requirements of the different modules, the entrepreneurs will receive a certificate of achievement.
The virtual accelerator programs have reached over 7,000 registrations since the launch of the Virtual Accelerator in 2019. These resources remain available to women entrepreneurs: Virtual Accelerator was launched to broaden the knowledge and strengthen the business skills of women entrepreneurs. The programs that follow (the Finance Bootcamp for Women Entrepreneurs and the Innovative Entrepreneur Toolkit) focus on specific topics and tools to support the growth of a business in the digital context, including sales, innovation, e-commerce and digital marketing, as well as basic finance topics such as accounting and financial statements.
