Lima, Peru - October 17, 2024. The Museo de Arte de Lima (MALI) in Peru, was the setting chosen to commemorate the 60th anniversary of INCAE Business School, in an evening that brought together graduates, entrepreneurs and friends of the institution. The activity highlighted the transformative impact of INCAE in the region, its educational trajectory and its firm commitment to business leadership and democracy.

The event began with some emotional words of welcome by Rector Enrique Bolaños, who recalled the achievements of INCAE in its six decades of history and its mission to continue training leaders who promote sustainable development in Latin America.
"Resilience, adaptability and the ability to innovate learned at INCAE are critical skills in every executive today. Each of our graduates is not only an expert in his or her field, but also a citizen committed to the well-being of his or her community and the world," said Bolaños in his speech.
Afterwards, attendees enjoyed the presentation of the commemorative video "INCAE 60 years", which reviewed the most important milestones of the institution since its founding in 1964 and its impact on more than 19,500 graduates worldwide, of whom 1,400 are Peruvians.

Deans Bernard Kilian and Michele Quintano then took the floor to share where the institution is headed, detailing the vision of the Faculty and the Impact Centers, as well as the new Grade and executive programs that are transforming INCAE 's academic offerings to adapt to the challenges of the 21st century.
One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of awards to individuals and institutions that have contributed significantly to the growth of INCAE in Peru. Among the honorees were Interbank, the Ponce Secada family and Javier Tukumura, who received this honor for their valuable contributions to our institution.

The ceremony was followed by an inspiring lecture by Professor Alberto Trejos, entitled "The Value of Democracy," in which he explored the importance of democratic values for economic and business development in the region. Trejos emphasized the role of education in the formation of leaders who can face the current and future challenges of Latin America.

The evening culminated with a cocktail party, where attendees had the opportunity to share experiences and strengthen the ties of the Incaísta community in Peru, a country that has been fundamental in the history and expansion of INCAE.
