More than 20 innovative projects in the healthcare sector in Latin America will receive support from the INCAE Business School with the launch of the seventh edition of the CAHI Jeffe Fellowship, the project acceleration program designed to improve the quality, accessibility and affordability of healthcare in the Latin American region.

"We focus on empowering healthcare innovators to become agents of social change in the region by providing them with leadership and management tools," highlights program director Professor Andrea Prado as part of the CAHI Jeffe Fellowship's mission in this relaunch.

Participant Profile: The program is looking for people who are already working on innovative projects in the health sector and who have the potential to make them grow. "We are looking for people with a vocation for service and a strong social commitment, they can be from the public, private or non-profit sector. Participants are welcome regardless of their specific background, they can be health professionals, engineers or have any other background, as long as they are committed to improving health in Latin American countries," said Andy Pearson, Program Coordinator.

The CAHI Jeffe Fellowship is especially interested in supporting leaders with projects related to non-communicable diseases, health technologies, primary care and disease prevention, women's health, innovation in health management, high demand specialty health services, oral health, services for amputee and prosthetic populations, mental health, and access to health services for vulnerable populations.
