INCAE Business School took an important step in the training of leaders in logistics and supply chain with the official launch of its new Specialized Executive Master's Degree in Logistics & Supply Chainwhich will begin in May 2025. The event, held this week in Panama, included activities in two of the country's most relevant logistics zones: the Colon Free Zone and the Panama Pacifico Special Zone, highlighting the region's strategic role as a global logistics hub.

One of the main characteristics of this master's degree is its practical approach, adapted to the business reality of the region. During the launch week, Professor Guillermo Selva visited Panamanian logistics companies to gather information and develop case studies that reflect the challenges and solutions applied in this dynamic sector. Professor Bernard Kilian, academic director of the master's degree, shared at the events the global challenges facing the logistics sector and how this program prepares participants to address them in an innovative and strategic way. "The design of this master's degree combines a world-class academic approach with the application of knowledge in the context of one of the world's most important logistics hubs, making it a unique program," he said.

The week culminated with a model class at the Executive Center of INCAE in Panama, located in Costa del Este Business Park. Coordinated by the specialized masters team, the session allowed attendees to live a high quality academic experience and learn first-hand about the benefits of the program.
