During the XIII Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Week 2024 in Panama, Professor Urs P. Jäger of INCAE Business School gave an inspiring lecture entitled "How to generate a Sustainable Business Culture from a Transformative Leadership". In his presentation, Jäger stressed that leaders must take a proactive role in integrating sustainability into every aspect of their organizations, promoting a vision that balances economic, social and environmental aspects.
This event, organized by SUMARSE, celebrates 15 years of commitment to sustainability in Panama. At the helm of SUMARSE is Stanley Motta, a prominent businessman, donor and friend of INCAE, who has played a key role in the development of key initiatives to promote sustainability in the country. As president of SUMARSE, Motta has driven the creation of platforms that connect business, government and civil society to transform the way corporate social responsibility is managed.
In addition to Professor Jäger's participation, INCAE celebrates the leadership of Incaísta Karla Mola, Executive Director of SUMARSE, who has led the organization of this event that brought together more than 700 representatives from Panama's most important sectors. Both Motta and Mola are examples of the commitment of INCAE and its partners to promote sustainable development in the region.
This year, the 13th CSR Week reinforces its purpose under the slogan "We add 15 years of commitment to sustainability", celebrating the achievements of SUMARSE and its members. INCAE will continue to collaborate with SUMARSE in initiatives such as the sustainability gap analysis study, planned for next year, which will provide key tools for member companies to improve their sustainability management.

CSR Week is the annual sustainability event that connects leaders from different sectors in a space for dialogue and collaboration. This year, the 13th edition takes place from October 22 to 24 at Casa Veranda, at the Sheraton Grand Panama Hotel, under the slogan "Sumamos 15 años de compromiso con la sostenibilidad" (We add 15 years of commitment to sustainability). With this celebration, SUMARSE recognizes the achievements and positive impact of its work in favor of a more just, equitable and sustainable Panama.
