On November 9, the Walter Kissling Gam Campus of INCAE Business School was the setting for the workshop "Building a Sustainable Campus". This introductory workshop aimed to foster a sustainable living experience among students, highlighting INCAE 's commitment to sustainability and environmental education.

The workshop was attended by approximately 40 students from the MBA 2026 cohort, who, through an enriching experiential training, were able to learn first-hand about the actions and strategies that we implement to strengthen our sustainability on a daily basis. During the activity, essential topics such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the carbon footprint, and the management of water and energy resources were addressed.

One of the most relevant focuses of the workshop was solid waste management, an area in which INCAE has made a special effort. To optimize recycling management, new waste containers were delivered to each of the students' houses, promoting more efficient separation and recycling.

The closing of the workshop was a moment of reflection and commitment, in which students wrote their personal pledges to contribute to sustainability on campus. This activity not only strengthened the sense of community, but also underscored the importance of each member of INCAE becoming actively involved in building a more sustainable and conscious environment.

The "Building a Sustainable Campus" workshop is a clear example of how INCAE continues to innovate and promote a culture of sustainability that goes beyond the classroom, encouraging students to lead responsibly and take concrete actions for the well-being of the environment and the community.
