Last Friday, November 8, INCAE Business School held its second graduation ceremony this year, where 139 students from 14 countries, corresponding to the Master in Business Administration (Global MBA), Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA), Executive Master in Finance (EMF), Executive Master in Business Analytics and Data Management (EMA) and the Executive Master in Marketing and Digital Transformation (EMM) programs received their degree.

Held at the Walter Kissling Gam campus, marking a milestone in the lives of the graduates and as part of the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the institution. More than 500 guests, including family, friends, professors and distinguished personalities, attended the event which, as is tradition, began with a parade of graduates and faculty members. The ceremony was conducted on this occasion by Prof. Felipe Pérez.

Dr. Roberto Artavia, President of the Board of Directors and former Rector of INCAE, introduced the Guest of Honor, Gisela Sánchez Maroto, Executive President of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI). During his presentation, Artavia motivated the graduates: "Each of you has the potential to achieve similar goals to Gisela, if you put alongside your capabilities, skills and resources a good dose of commitment and passion to make a real difference in the lives of others and, above all, of the next generations of Latin Americans."

The Guest of Honor, Ing. Sanchez, shared a powerful message with the new graduates: "For me, there is no barrier or starting condition that can limit a human being's dreams and desire to excel. Standing here in front of you today is a great life lesson: excellence is the result of caring more than what others think is sensible, dreaming more than what most consider practical, and expecting more from life than others think possible."

Paulo Enrique García Flores, Promotion Salutatorian
The speech of the Salutatorian of the graduating class, Paulo Enrique Garcia Flores, resonated among the attendees: "At INCAE our doubts were transformed into confidence, our fears into achievements and our dreams into realities. Today we say goodbye to our home, grateful for the lessons, friendships and sacrifices that will always accompany us on this path of transforming the world."

Luis Andrés Jiménez Arguedas, Class Valedictorian
Valedictorian Luis Andrés Jiménez Arguedas said: "Today we celebrate our ability to dream big and overcome obstacles. At INCAE we learned that true leadership is responsibility and commitment to generate a positive impact. We take with us a great mission: to be agents of change in our companies and in society."

The ceremony continued with the reading of the oath by Juan Manuel Salas Boza, from the INCAE Oath Club, who also presented a club card to the guest of honor, Gisela Sanchez. Afterwards, recognition was given to professors Alberto Trejos, Michele Quintano, Pedro Raventós, Andrey Elizondo and Luciano Ciravegna on behalf of the graduating classes.

Finally, the presentation of diplomas, degrees and distinctions crowned an evening full of joy and pride, in which the new Incaístas celebrated the achievement of having completed this important challenge, joining the more than 19,500 graduates of this institution.

The graduation ceremony was a reflection of INCAE 's commitment to the formation of leaders that generate positive impact in the region, marking a symbolic closure to this year of commemoration of its 60 years of history.
