On Monday, August 19, INCAE Business School was honored to receive the President of the Republic of Paraguay, Santiago Peña Palacios, at its Walter Kissling Gam campus, where he presented the conference entitled "Paraguay: Energy that Connects". During his speech, the President highlighted investment opportunities in his country, addressing strategic issues such as energy development, infrastructure and the expansion of key sectors in the Paraguayan economy.

The conference, which was attended by the diplomatic corps, special guests, businessmen, faculty, students and staff of INCAE, offered an in-depth overview of Paraguay's competitive advantages, highlighting economic stability and favorable policies for attracting foreign capital, as well as integration, social progress, renewable energies and regional development.

President Peña underscored the importance of strategic alliances in areas such as renewable energy, logistics and agriculture, inviting investors from the region to explore emerging opportunities in his country.

Following the conference, the President held a private meeting with Costa Rican businessmen, where they discussed projects in sectors such as real estate development, free trade zones, logistics services, tourism, energy-intensive industries, and agricultural production.

Enrique Bolaños, Rector of INCAE, expressed his satisfaction with the visit: "It was a privilege to welcome President Peña to our campus. His modern and pragmatic vision of Paraguay's future offers valuable learning for our community, and opens doors to new opportunities for cooperation and investment in the region".

President Peña's visit reinforces INCAE 's commitment to promote regional collaboration and business development, consolidating its role as a platform for the exchange of ideas and the creation of links between leaders and decision makers in Latin America.
