Last week, outstanding members of our faculty represented INCAE at the prestigious annual conference of the Academy of Management (AoM), held in Chicago, USA. This event is a meeting point for academics, practitioners and doctoral students from around the world, who share their research, generate new knowledge and build collaborative networks at an international level.
In this edition of the conference, professors Andrea Prado, Carlos A. Rodríguez, Jorge Vinicio Murillo, Luciano Ciravegna and Roy G. Zúñiga participated actively, putting the name of our institution on a high level.

Professor Andrea Prado co-organized the Global Research Consortium of the Organization and Management Theory (OMT) division, a space dedicated to the exchange of ideas and advances in the theory and practice of organizational management.

Professor Carlos Rodriguez presented his study "Linking Strategic Positioning & Implementation: Monitoring Effects Over Profitability", exploring the relationship between strategy and implementation on corporate profitability. In addition, together with Professor Luciano Ciravegna, he presented the research "Goal Deviation Responses in Offshoring", where they analyzed how companies respond to deviations in goals within offshoring processes.

Jorge Vinicio Murillo presented the article "Hatching and Fledging? A Meta-Analysis of the Performance Effects of Business Incubators" at a session of the Entrepreneurship division, offering an analysis of the impact of business incubators on venture performance.

Professor Roy G. Zúñiga also played a leading role in the Operations and Supply Chain Management division, participating in visits to digital manufacturing environments to discuss issues of innovation, data analytics and artificial intelligence.
The participation of our professors in this global event reaffirms INCAE 's commitment to academic excellence and the creation of relevant knowledge for the region and the world. International collaboration and the constant search for new perspectives are fundamental pillars in the mission of INCAE, and events such as the AoM are a key platform to continue moving in that direction.
