In collaboration with Executive Education, our center designs customized programs to train women executives and entrepreneurs. Our objective is to provide them with the necessary tools to strengthen their leadership skills and develop competencies that prepare them to assume roles of greater responsibility within their organizations or companies.
Thanks to our research, which allows us to thoroughly understand the market and the reality of women in the region, we have developed a portfolio of programs that are highly relevant to both women and their employers.
LEADS Academy for Women is a platform that allows women entrepreneurs in Latin America to take a program that will offer them tools and knowledge to improve their business strategy, with the objective of growing their businesses.
This is a multi-phase training program in which a select group of women entrepreneurs will receive training, mentoring to develop a robust business plan, regional networking and personalized follow-up for 6 months after completion of the plan to measure success in implementation.
LEADS, which stands for Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Development and Sustainability, stems from research conducted at DRCLAS at Harvard and covered by CNN on "The Challenge of Women Entrepreneurs in Latin America", in which more than 400 women entrepreneurs across the region identified lack of funding resources, lack of support networks and lack of management training as a risk of abandonment. This study was conducted by Cardoza, Ilie, García and Fernández.

LEADS Women is born with the objective of impacting women entrepreneurs committed to bring about significant change in themselves, their teams and their companies and brings the most up-to-date concepts of business acceleration into practice, empowering participants to transform knowledge into impact through the LEADS pillars: Lead, Undertake, Advance, Develop, and Sustain.

Under the Women's Business Growth initiative, INCAE Business School's Empresarias Progresando - EMPRO program will contribute to productivity, job creation and economic growth in Guatemala by providing direct and in-depth support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) run by women who are looking to grow, but need knowledge, skills or connections to do so.
EMPRO is a program divided into three pillars:

The Women's Executive Leadership Program works with the participants, high-level executives from the public, private and third sectors, to identify and develop their strategic leadership competencies for senior management in companies that enable women to have the greatest success and impact in their jobs.

The independent organization Catalyst, which focuses on women and their roles in business, conducted a study of 300 Fortune 500 companies in the late 1990s, which found that companies that had women in management positions performed optimally and achieved a high return on equity, and a higher return on equity with investors, (outperformed by one-third). Catalyst further revealed that with at least three women in a company outperformed the competition.
Let us help you empower your company's female executive talent by designing programs that fit your company's language, organizational culture and challenges.
