Guatemalan entrepreneurs from the Empresarias Progresando (EMPRO) program completed the first stage of the "LEADS Academy for Women" program this year. During this phase, the entrepreneurs spent a week at the Walter Kissling Gam Campus at INCAE to receive training in communication skills and present their acceleration projects.
EMPRO is carried out by the Center for Inclusive and Sustainable Leadership (CELIS) with the support of the Aspen Network of Entrepreneurs for Development (ANDE), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and in alliance with the companies: Cargill, Mastercard and PriceSmart Foundation.
These videos summarize the experience of these weeks:
Both the September and November groups presented their acceleration projects before a specialized jury, who were responsible for evaluating them and selecting outstanding projects to receive awards from INCAE Business School and our allies in Guatemala: RexCargo and Bufete Aguilar Castillo Love.

During the next year, the entrepreneurs will begin the phases of the program To Financing and To the Market. In which they will expand their knowledge of the financial environment in Guatemala and generate new business opportunities with access to new markets.
