The Presidential Advisory Council (PAC) met on March 2 and 3, in its 17th edition, at the Walter Kissling Gam Campus, located in Alajuela, Costa Rica. This year's meeting had the largest attendance in history with close to 60 participants, including members and special guests.

Founded in 2009, this council meets annually and is comprised of interested and committed leaders in Latin America who provide external review, perspective, advocacy and support to INCAE and its programs. To date, it has 70 members.

During the activity, the Rector of INCAE , Enrique Bolaños, presented his annual report; and Dean Camelia Ilie led a Q&A on "Strategic analysis of business models of business schools".

In addition, the President of the Board of Directors, Roberto Artavia and Prof. Alberto Trejos moderated the panel "Political, economic and social challenges after the pandemic", with the participation of panelists Alberto Hoyos, International Vice President of Grupo Nutresa: and María Nelly Rivas, Vice President of Government Relations Latin America of Cargill.

Also, Olga Botero, CEO and founding partner of C&S Customers and Strategy and co-founder of Seccuri gave a talk on the "Challenges for boards of directors: emerging digital and external risks".

Professor Carla Fernández moderated the panel "Digital Transformation: Challenges and Opportunities", with panelists Welby Leaman, Senior Director of Global Public Policy at Walmart Inc; Abby Daniell, Director of the Latin America, Canada and Caribbean Public Sector at Amazon Web Services; Ramón Mendiola, CEO of FIFCO; and Daniel Verswyvel, General Manager of the Central Latin America Region at Microsoft.

The PAC's main objective is to ensure that the institution and its programs continue to reflect and respond to the critical issues facing the region by providing strategic and practical leadership on issues of high priority for the institution's future.
