We are pleased to share with you the results of our recent research event, which was organized by the Research Center of INCAE, in which, as part of our commitment to the continuing education of our faculty, assistant professors, associates, and researchers participated, as well as the active participation of academics and professionals from the Technological Institute of Costa Rica (TEC). The commitment of INCAE with the development of the region and cooperation at the local level are highlighted in this inter-institutional collaboration.
In this edition of the "Research Summer Camp" INCAE has invited two speakers, recognized experts in their respective areas, Professor Manel Baucells (Darden School of Business) and Giovanni Visentin (INCAE Business School).
Professor Baucells' extensive knowledge of behavioral science and decision making captivated the audience. His presentation provided an enriching perspective on the pursuit of new research ideas, as well as a master class in prospect theory and decision analysis.
On the other hand, Professor Visentin, gave a master workshop on Web Scrapping and Text Mining, where he enriched his audience with state-of-the-art tools that are very useful in applied research.
We thank the participants of this event for their enthusiasm and contributions. The commitment of our academic community to research and knowledge sharing is reflected in their presence and active participation.
