INCAEOctober 25, 2013. Rodrigo Uribe Sáenz, CEO of Grupo Cuestamoras, and MAE VII graduate of the class of 1975, was chosen as the 2013 Distinguished Graduate of INCAE Business School.

This distinction is awarded to graduates who, through their professional and personal trajectory, represent the values of leadership, ethics and social responsibility as well as the mission of INCAE, and actively promote the development of their countries.

The award ceremony took place on October 24 during the "Noche Incaísta", an event that brought together more than a hundred of incaístas from different countries and friends of INCAE at the Marriott Hotel, located in La Ribera de Belen.

The activity was part of the 7th International Meeting of Incaístas called Global Management Forum, in which the best practices that support personal and business growth were analyzed. This forum was held on October 24 and 25 at the Walter Kissling Gam campus of INCAE.

Rodrigo Uribe, a 65-year-old Costa Rican, was elected by the Incaísta Network (graduates of INCAE) and by the Faculty.

The Cuestamoras Group has two divisions: Cuestamoras Real Estate Sector and Cuestamoras Capitals. However, Rodrigo Uribe's experience includes 30 years at the helm of what was Corporación de Supermercados Unidos, and then Central American Retail Holding Company (Carhco) and its transformation into Walmart Central America. In 2007 he retired to concentrate on Grupo Cuestamoras.
