On April 13, students from the GLOBAL, MBA and MAIT programs enjoyed an enriching exchange of experiences and moments of relaxation amidst the natural beauty of our campus.

Student activities in this activity
During this day, 20 trees of slow-growing native species were planted, specifically selected for their ability to contribute to carbon sequestration. The activity was accompanied by forestry engineer Ignacio Rojas, who gave an introductory talk highlighting the importance of reforestation, as well as instructing on the correct way to plant and care for the trees.

This activity, organized by the Campus & Hospitality Projects and Sustainability team, is part of the student residence remodeling project, which is being funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Planting these trees is a compensatory measure that seeks to counteract the environmental impacts derived from the interventions we are carrying out in our facilities in order to improve the experience for our students.

We thank the Sustainability Club, the Health and Sports Club and all the students who participated in this initiative and who actively collaborate in the preservation and protection of our natural environment. Together, we are taking important steps towards building a sustainable campus.
