As part of the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of INCAE Business School, we celebrated a historic achievement: the visit of the first generation of the Online MBA. In November 2022, a group of 53 students from Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama, Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay and Peru accepted the challenge of being part of this innovative modality. Today, after two years of effort, commitment and learning, they are culminating their academic career with a week of on-campus learning at the Walter Kissling Gam campus.

An innovative academic experience

This group marked the beginning of our innovative classrooms Virtual Classroomwhich replicated the immersive classroom experience virtually. Throughout these two years, students participated in interactive classes, collaborative projects and integrative activities, including three on-campus face-to-face weeks (one each year), which consolidated their learning and created meaningful bonds among themselves and with the INCAE community.

Closing week on campus: a golden brooch

This past week was filled with activities designed to reflect, share knowledge and celebrate achievements:

  • Monday: Career Development session with Geanina Cobb, Director of Alumni Relations & Career Development, where students explored strategies to plan their career path and enhance key skills in the workplace.
